How to use a Request Review Flow with Instant AI

The Request Review Flow automatically asks customers to leave a review after their order is fulfilled.

How it works

  • Default timing: 1 email sent 7 days after fulfilment
  • Additional touchpoints: Optional, with a 2-day delay between each
  • Email creation: Instant AI generates the first email using the Review Request template. You can cycle through options and pick a layout block.
  • Multiple products: All items in the order are listed, each linking to its product page.
  • Review links: Buttons automatically link to your product pages using your existing review provider (not provider-specific).

 

Automatic exclusions

Instant AI automatically excludes orders with:

  • Refunds
  • Returns
  • Cancellations

These are checked before send time and will only send a review request if the order has been fulfilled and hasn't occurred in any of these scenarios.

Can I edit the email?

Yes — you can edit it like any other email in Instant AI. The trigger stays the same. If you’d like to try a plain-text outreach or a custom design, you can. Just keep a CTA button or link in the email and Instant AI will automatically connect it to the product page.

Do I need to connect my review app?

No — the email links directly to your product pages where your review widget or app is already set up.
