Instant AI makes it easy to start collecting subscribers and welcoming them with on-brand emails without needing any setup or design work. Here’s how it works.
What is an Instant Sign up Form?
An Instant Sign up Form is a fully branded pop-up sign up form that appears on your Shopify storefront to help grow your email list. It’s generated automatically by Instant AI and styled to match your store’s look and feel.
Perfect for stores just getting started with list growth or those who want a fast, high-converting form live in minutes.
How to Enable Your Sign Up Form
-
Log in to Instant
- Select the AI Flows tab
-
Scroll to Bottom → Instant Sign Up
-
Click Enable Form
-
Your form will appear live on your storefront for new visitors
If you wish to offer a discount or incentive to your sign up form, go to the coupons page here and select one coupon. This one discount applies to multiple places with Instant, including Welcome Flows, Abandonment and more. Read more about Instant Coupons here
How to Enable the Welcome Flow
-
Go to AI Flows → Welcome Flow
-
Toggle the flow ON
-
Instant AI will begin sending welcome emails to new subscribers
This currently sends one email immediately after signup. Additional steps will be supported in future versions.
Tip: You must have Pop-Ups enabled for us to capture a new subscriber to send a welcome flow. Welcome Flows with no Pop-Ups enabled won't have any data points to send.
What Happens After Someone Signs Up?
If you’ve enabled Welcome Flows, Instant AI will send a welcome email automatically when someone signs up through your form.
This email:
-
Is written in your brand’s tone of voice
-
Mentions any store-wide promotions (e.g. free shipping)
-
Applies your default Instant coupon (if configured)
-
Displays your top 5 best-selling products
Other considerations:
-
The welcome flow only triggers from Instant Sign Up Forms
-
The flow sends one immediate email
-
If a default coupon is configured in Instant AI, it will be included in the welcome email
-
Welcome-specific coupons are not supported (yet)
