What is the Judge.me integration?
The Judge.me integration connects your Judge.me account to Instant AI. Judge.me reviews can start your Review Submitted flow in Instant, and your emails show your written reviews and star ratings from Judge.me.
Why you need it
- Without it, Instant does not know when a shopper leaves a review in Judge.me.
- Without it, Instant can read only your Judge.me star ratings and review counts from your product pages, not the written reviews, so your Social Proof blocks stay hidden.
How to set it up
Before you start
- Your Judge.me shop must be on the Judge.me Awesome plan. Judge.me sends review events only on this plan, so Instant cannot connect a shop on another plan.
- You need to be able to log in to Judge.me and approve access for Instant.
Connecting Judge.me
- In your Instant AI dashboard, click the Settings cog in the bottom left corner
- Under Site, select Integrations
- Select the Reviews tab, or search for Judge.me
- Click Connect on the Judge.me card
- Click Continue to Judge.me
- Log in to Judge.me and approve access for Instant
- Judge.me shows on the Connected tab
Note: If your shop is not on the Awesome plan, the connection stops and Instant shows the reason. Upgrade in Judge.me, then connect again.
Setting up the Review Submitted flow
- Go to Flows in your Instant AI dashboard
- Scroll to the Reviews section
- Click Manage flows to see every flow in that section
- Click Set up next to Review Submitted
- The flow opens on the Template tab with a starter email already written. Edit the copy and design to suit your brand
- Turn off any thank-you email that Judge.me sends after a review, and any Klaviyo flow that starts from a Judge.me review
- Enable the flow when you are ready to send
Note: If you do not turn off the Judge.me and Klaviyo emails, shoppers get two thank-you emails for the same review.
How it works
Review Submitted flow
The Review Submitted flow starts when a shopper leaves a review through Judge.me. It sends one email for each review. Use it to thank the shopper for their review.
Judge.me does not send Instant an event when an order is ready for a review request, so the Request Review on Delivery and Request Review on Fulfillment flows do not start from Judge.me.
Reviews and star ratings in your emails
When Judge.me is connected, Instant gets your reviews and star ratings from Judge.me for your product blocks and Social Proof blocks:
- Judge.me is the only review source. Instant does not read review data from other review apps on your products.
- Instant shows only reviews that are published in Judge.me. It does not show reviews that you hid or did not approve in Judge.me.
- Instant gets new reviews from Judge.me every 24 hours, so a new or removed review can take up to a day to change in your emails.

FAQ
I already had a Social Proof block in my emails. Why do I still see my old reviews? A block that was already in an email can keep the reviews it had before you connected. Refresh the block in each email, or remove it and add it again, to show your Judge.me reviews.
Can Instant send my review request emails from Judge.me? No. Keep your review requests in Judge.me, or use the Request Review flow in Instant, which links to your product pages. Use one of them, not both, so shoppers do not get two review requests for the same order.
Why does Judge.me show a message on the Integrations page? Instant checks the connection. If Judge.me shows Reconnect Judge.me, Instant lost access or stopped getting review events, so connect Judge.me again. If it shows the Awesome plan message, your shop is no longer on the Awesome plan.
Can I connect a different Judge.me shop to the same Instant site? No. Disconnect Judge.me first, then connect the other shop.
What happens if I disconnect Judge.me? Your Review Submitted flow stops starting from Judge.me, and Instant stops getting reviews from Judge.me for your emails. Instant removes its connection from your Judge.me account. Your emails go back to the star ratings and review counts on your product pages.
