SMS in Instant AI

You’ll soon be able to capture phone numbers, trigger SMS flows, and send automated messages alongside your existing email flows.

 

What’s coming

  • SMS in Instant AI Flows → SMS will launch within Instant AI Flows, letting you send texts as part of your existing automations (e.g. Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase).

  • SMS in Instant AI Campaigns → You’ll also be able to send SMS campaigns directly from Instant.

  • Multi-Region Support → SMS will be available to Australian merchants at launch, with US support coming soon after.

 

What setup will involve

Before you can start sending SMS, we’ll need to provision you a dedicated phone number and collect some required business information to comply with carrier and regulatory guidelines.

This process will include:

  • Verifying your business name and address

  • Providing ABN or business ID documentation

  • Assigning you a sending number to use for all your texts

Once you’ve completed setup, Instant AI will take care of the rest! There's no additional steps needed from you.

 

What you can do now

You can start preparing by adding phone number capture to your sign-up forms.
Instant AI will begin to store these numbers so you’re ready to reach customers via SMS when the feature launches.
