Collection Viewed Abandonment Flows

🆕 What’s New

We’ve launched a new Collection Viewed Abandonment Flow for Instant AI customers.

This flow is triggered when a shopper views a collection page (e.g. “Rings”, “Denim”, “New Arrivals”) but doesn’t go on to view a product or make a purchase.

It automatically generates a personalised abandonment email in the brand’s tone of voice and includes:

  • A smart message referencing the collection they explored
  • The top-selling products from that collection, dynamically pulled in

This creates a strong recovery opportunity earlier in the funnel and is ideal for stores with rich category landing pages or highly merchandised collections.

🔁 Part of the Abandonment Flow Suite

This flow follows the same logic and structure as our other abandonment flows:

  • Collection → Browse → Cart → Checkout

As shoppers move through the funnel, they qualify for the most relevant abandonment flow based on their last high-intent action.

Only one flow is sent per shopper, based on where they dropped off.

🚫 Coupon Support

  • Coupons are not supported in collection viewed flows
  • Since these emails are triggered from a non-product view, there’s no known price value or minimum spend to validate against
  • Any sitewide promotions (like free shipping or “10% off everything”) scraped from the store will still be included if relevant in the body copy however no coupon code is generated
