      How to place test orders on Instant Checkout

      Place test orders to confirm that orders are flowing correctly through to your e-commerce backend. Follow these steps to make sure the Instant Checkout is functioning as expected:

      Initiate Checkout

      • From the Product Page: Directly open the checkout by clicking the Instant "Buy Now" button on the product page.

      • From the Mini Cart or Cart Page:
        1. Add an item to the cart.
        2. Access the mini cart or navigate to the cart page.

      Log In or Sign Up

      • Existing Users: Enter your email and log in using the one-time password sent to your email.
      • New Users: Enter your email to create a new account; a one-time password will be sent to complete the registration.
      • Note for Production Testing: Use "TEST ORDER" in the name field to identify your transaction.

      Select Delivery Option

      • Choose the most suitable delivery method for your order.

      Enter Payment Details

      • Complete the payment fields with your information.

      Test Coupon Codes

      • Apply a Coupon Code: Enter a valid coupon code in the designated field and apply it to your order.
      • Verify Discount: Ensure that the discount or promotion associated with the coupon is correctly applied to the total.
      • Test Invalid Codes: Enter expired or invalid codes to ensure that appropriate error messages are displayed.

      Complete Purchase

      • Click "Buy Now" to submit your order.

      • A confirmation page will be displayed with your order details, indicating a successful transaction.

      Verify Order

      • Confirm the order has been processed successfully by checking your E-commerce platform's backend.
      • Note: There may be a delay of about 5 minutes for orders to show up on the E-commerce platform. Please allow sufficient time before verifying the transactions.

      Test Order Refunds and Cancellations

      • Perform tests on processing refunds and cancellations to verify these functions are operating correctly.

      By following these structured steps, you can thoroughly test and ensure that the Instant Checkout feature is functional and ready for deployment.
