      Refund through BigCommerce

      Refunding Instant orders through BigCommerce

      You can process a refund through the Instant dashboard by following this guide.

      If you would prefer to process the refund through BigCommerce you can by follow the below steps.

      1. Log in to Your BigCommerce Account: Access your BigCommerce dashboard using your login credentials.
      2. Go to Orders: From the dashboard, go to the Orders section and select the order that you need to refund.

      3. Start Refund: Go into the order details, and click the "refund customer through third-party provider" button. This button indicates the order was through Instant or another third-party payment platform.

      4. Confirm Refund Details: You will be prompted to confirm refund details such as the amount to be refunded and any other relevant information. Check that the details are correct before proceeding.

      5. Complete the Refund: Follow the prompts to complete the refund process. BigCommerce will communicate with Instant's payment gateway to process the refund transaction. Once the refund is processed, it will show in the Instant dashboard
